Vervisch and Taquini in pole position in Aragon

Even if the Hondas dominate the WTCR championship, the BoP (Balance of Performance) redistributes the cards at each race. On the Spanish circuit of Aragon, it was Frédéric Vervisch who took pole position in 2.06.169. Meanwhile, Honda was in great difficulty and did not advance to Q3.

In Q3, it was Frédéric Vervisch who was the fastest. He will therefore start 1st in race 2 but 10th in race 1. Championship leader Jean-Karl Vernay only set the 5th time this afternoon. The Frenchman pockets a point despite everything and will have a great opportunity to widen his lead during tomorrow's day.

The qualifying session was marked by the hydraulic problem, from Q1, for the winner in race 2 in Portugal, Attila Tassi. He will start in last position in tomorrow's two races.

Race 1 will start at 11:00 a.m., while race 2 will start at 13:00 p.m. this Sunday.
