Victory and record for Alon Day in Valencia

On pole for the Saturday race, Alon Day (PK Carsport) made a little more history in the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series. Beaten by his teammate Stienes Longin a few turns after the start of the race on the Ricardo Tormo circuit, the Israeli on his Chevrolet Camaro still managed to impose his law.

Second behind the Belgian, Alon Day seized his chance and regained control of the race during the 11th loop of the race. What followed was a great fight between the two PK Carsport drivers which the Israeli won with a little over a second ahead of Stienes Longin.

« I am so happy (...) I have a great team and a great teammate. I'm glad we kept it clean and held all the other drivers behind us. It’s a great achievement for PK Carsport to score this double. Now there are only two left! », Confided the main person after the race.

Thanks to this third victory of the season, the 23rd of his career, Alon Day takes the lead in the championship a little further and establishes himself as the man to beat.

Now it's time for the EuroNASCAR PRO, the last two races of the 2020 season still on the Ricardo Tormo circuit in Valencia.
