WRT celebrates its premiere with BMW

WRT couldn’t have started the new chapter in its history better. After closing that of Audi, it is with BMW that the Belgian team started this 2023 season.

For its first official outing in M4 GT3, Vincent Vosse's team won the 24 Hours of Dubai on Sunday, even scoring a double podium. Mohammed Al Saud Ben Saud, Jens Klingmann, Diego Menchaca, Jean-Baptiste Simmenauer and Dries Vanthoor won with the No. 7, leading 425 of the 621 laps, while the No. 46 of Sean Gelael, Max Hesse, Maxime Martin , Valentino Rossi and Tim Whale took third place.

This is WRT's third success in the Middle East's most prestigious endurance race after those acquired in 2016 and 2022. An ideal start to the collaboration between the two parties before the first race under the BMW M Team WRT name. which will be the Bathurst 12 Hours, opening round of the Intercontinental GT Challenge, on February 4 and 5.
