WTCC – Liqui Moly retains Engstler and Ng

We take the same and start again. German team Liqui Moly Team Engstler has just confirmed its driver pairing for the 2013 WTCC season. The first wheel of the two BMW 320 TCs will, in fact, go to the owner of the team: the experienced Franz Engstler, 51 years old. Just like in 2012, he will team up with 28-year-old Hong Kong driver Charles Kaki Ng. Last year, Franz Englster finished in twelfth place in the Drivers' Championship with a best result of fifth place in Valencia. For his part, Charles Kaki Ng finished 25th.

“We are confident that both will be able to improve their results. Franz is an experienced driver who even managed to secure a clear victory at Oschersleben two years ago, while Charles has made his mark in this championship by continuing his learning during his first full season in the WTCC. We are grateful to Liqui Moly for renewing its support and confidence in our pair of drivers,” said Team Manager Kurt Treml.
