WTCC – Yvan Muller: “An almost perfect lap”

Yvan Muller is satisfied with his start to the Hungarian weekend. By granting best qualifying time on his Chevrolet Cruze 1.6T, the triple Alsatian world champion took his second pole position of the season this Saturday, the 17th of his career. “I was very happy with my time in Q2”, He explains. “It is true that our car has always been competitive here and today it was particularly efficient in the first sector. Now we have to concentrate on the second sector, because we lose something here compared to the Hondas, but not enough to lose pole either”, notes the poleman, perfectionist.

“Tomorrow I'm going to be overwhelmed by the Civics at the start of the first race, I'm going to have to have strong shoulders”, predicts the Alsatian. “I will do my best to stay in the lead after the first corner. If I get there, then I'll be confident because I think we have a good set-up for the race.", specifies Yvan Muller. Response this Sunday at 12:15 p.m. for Race 1, and at 14:15 p.m. for the second.
