Clément, congratulations on this victory! Where does this passion for motor sports come from, and what has been your journey so far?

This passion was passed on to me by my father, a bodybuilder. I was born and live in Le Mans, so there is no better setting to be a motorsport fan! Quite naturally, I started by following the races via theEndurance, which I have always loved. Before discovering the Formula 1 in 2015, the date on which I started following all the Grands Prix, the passion was also immediate. Content creation started in 2021 when on a circuit or at car meetings, I started taking photos with just my phone, and posting them on Instagram.

Then, one day I came across a second-hand camera, bought it, and decided to invest in it fully. For the record, my initial idea was to take beautiful shots to create my own phone wallpapers, because I am very demanding. As time went by, it gained momentum on social networks, more and more people liked it. At the same time, my studies (BAC Sti2d to become a motor racing mechanic. Editor’s note) no longer pleased me.

Was this loss of pleasure due to studies or a change of vocation?

More like studying. I wasn't a very diligent person at school, so the choice was quickly made! I got more and more involved in photography, going to the Bugatti Circuit as soon as something was rolling on the track in order to improve my skills. This allowed me to gain experience, to also gain visibility, Instagram subscribers, then to have contacts, to be called for different shootings, circuit days, and this brings me closer to my goal which is to make it my job.

What made you want to participate in this new video competition in partnership with Alpine ?

Firstly, a little disappointment to have finished second in the previous competition (Porsche Asked 24 Hours of Le Mans. Editor’s note). Finally, if I had the choice between winning for Le Mans or for Austin, I would have chosen Austin, by a wide margin. I know Le Mans like the back of my hand, and Alpine is one of my favorite brands. The mixture binding Endurance, Alpine, social networks, that’s what got me seduced in this competition... even if videos were not my area of expertise at the beginning.

How did you experience this voting period? Were you confident about your chances?

I knew it was going to be difficult, because I found myself in a bit of the same configuration as in the first competition, but this time with @ju_f1_. I thought I was going to battle it out with her for the win, even though the other three finalists also produced some really good content. She had a lot more followers than me on her social media. I owe this victory to my community, which was also disappointed with my “defeat” in the first competition. I was very invested in the votes, my family too, we got as many people to vote as possible. When I saw my lead increase, I was more confident.

What type of content are you planning to do in Austin?

I want to do things while remaining myself. I think I have a little experience in Endurance, I love it, I love the brand, and there will be a way to produce good content! I want to make this journey something positive for AUTOhebdo, as well as for me!
