Antonelli and Bearman at the Suzuka Super Formula tests

Double surprise announcement in Super Formula since the Japanese championship revealed the presence of Andrea Kimi Antonelli and Oliver Bearman at the Suzuka tests scheduled for December 11, 12 and 13. The two young drivers of Formula 2, who will both be starters on the grid Formula 1 in 2025, will be on track during these preparation tests for next season.

No participation in Super Formula in sight for the driver Mercedes nevertheless, for whom the test will aim to discover the Suzuka track in view of the Japanese Grand Prix, scheduled for April 6 on the famous Japanese circuit. It is likely the same for his teammate from Prema, who will be a regular at Haas next season.

Other drivers confirmed for the Super Formula tests at Suzuka include Oliver Rasmussen and Juan Manuel Correa, who could find their place on the 2025 grid of the Japanese championship.

Smart for Mercedes and Haas to do this test in order to get to know the spectacular Suzuka track! Smart also for Super Formula to accept future F1 drivers for these pre-season tests at Suzuka
