  • Despite three victories for his first campaign in Super Formula, Liam Lawson must be content with the honorary title of vice-champion in the premier category of the car au japon
  • Second at the start of the last weekend of the season (a double meeting at Suzuka), the New Zealander failed to get the better of Ritomo Miyata (TOM'S), author of a very solid meeting (2nd and 3rd).
  • “Only” 6th in the first race of the final, Lawson took pole for the C2. Surprised by Kakunoshin Ohta (Dandelion Racing) when the lights went out, the reservist Red Bull et Alpha Tauri F1 concluded its 2023 season with a 2nd place, ahead of the new champion Miyata.
  • Ohta takes his first success of the season after having already finished on the podium the day before (3rd).
  • Double reigning champion, Tomoki Nojiri almost took the runner-up spot from his teammate Mugen but he ultimately finished 3rd, half a point behind Lawson (106,5-106). Team Mugen can console themselves with the Team Title.
