Why is your season already over?

In reality, it was planned like that. I had gathered two sponsors, one French and one English, but my budget only allowed me to carry out five races. It was an interesting deal and I was hoping to find other sponsors in the meantime, but that was not the case. When you're racing, you don't have a lot of time to find sponsors. From now on, I will be able to focus on this research. And like the F2 is very expensive, why not do LM P2 or GT? My goal is simply to be a professional pilot, to make a living from my passion.

What assessment do you draw from your season?

The beginning was a bit difficult. It must be said that with my budget problems, I only participated in four days of official tests out of nine. And even though I had already done half of the season last year (with MP Motorsport), I changed teams. But once I got my bearings with my new engineer, I obtained good results, particularly on city circuits, like Baku (6th and 7th) and Monaco (4th and 5th).

Did knowing that you only had five races to convince put extra pressure on you?

We think about it, anyway. I was well aware that I didn't really have the right to make mistakes, and at the same time I had to obtain results quickly. In these conditions, it is difficult to learn calmly, especially since F2 is a series where we face many drivers who have several seasons behind them. But my season was progressing, and there was no reason why I couldn't continue my momentum... if I had had the opportunity.
