Yet in difficulty since the start of the season with his departures, Jack Aitken (ART GP) was able to take the lead of the race from the first turn, passing Artem Markelov (Russian Time). The Englishman was never worried, not even by the multiple safety cars.
At the finish, he is ahead of the DAMS driver Alexander albon et Lando Norris (Carlin), the championship leader signing his second podium of the weekend. After moving up 4 places, George Russell (ART GP) finished 4e and ahead of Luca Ghiotto (Campos) who completed a solid weekend.
Sean Gelael (Prema Racing) signs the comeback in the race with around ten places gained and arriving in 6e position. Antonio Fuoco (Charouz) finishes 7e before Nicholas latifi (DAMS) and Artem Markelov who fought until the end for the last point. Louis Delétraz (Charouz) and Santino Ferrucci (Trident) complete the top 10.
