After a year of absence due to the current health crisis, the W Series will make its big return in 2021. The championship of car exclusively reserved for women will take place in support of the Formula 1.
For this new edition of the W Series, eighteen drivers will be present on the starting grid. The first champion in the history of the category, Jamie Chadwick will put her title back on the line. The Spaniards Marta García, Belén Garcia and Nerea Martí also responded, as did Beitske Visser and Miki Koyama.

The second season in the history of the W Series will feature eight rounds, all in support of an F1 Grand Prix. The provisional calendar shows the start of the campaign at Paul Ricard.
The 18 pilots are then expected to visit Austria, Great Britain, Hungary, Belgium, the Netherlands, the United States and Mexico.

- July 31: Budapest, Hungary
- August 28: Spa-Francorchamps, Belgium
- September 4: Zandvoort, Netherlands
