Delétraz still the fastest in post-season testing in Abu Dhabi
Louis Delétraz looks good in his boots with the Charouz team. The Swiss set the best time in the peloton for the second day in a row Formula 2 during the 2019 post-season testing in Abu Dhabi, Friday December 6.
The eighth of the 2019 campaign (with Carlin) was the fastest during the second half of the day. The 22-year-old is ahead of Russian debutant Robert Shwartzman (Prema) and Nikita mazepin (Pug).
The outgoing FIA champion Formula 3 was even on track to remain the fastest of the day, but Louis Delétraz slammed his time just five minutes from the end of the session.
The morning session was led by Australian Marcus Armstrong (ART Grand Prix). The Frenchman Giuliano Alesi (HWA Racelab) finished the day with the ninth fastest time, while Mick Schumacher (Prema) did not ride after the lunch break. The last day of testing will be held on Saturday December 7.
