Mercedes expands its Junior Program in 2025. The brand with the star has revealed the identity of the drivers who will be part of its academy this season, and the German manufacturer has decided to expand its pool of young talents. This year, twelve drivers, ranging from karting , Formula 3, will be supported by the Stuttgart firm, with six new recruits. All aim to emulate George Russell and Andrea Kimi Antonelli, pure products of the Mercedes academy, who rose through the ranks to represent the German team in Formula 1.

The main recruit of this vintage is Noah Strømsted: the 17-year-old Dane joins the ranks of the brand with the star ahead of his first campaign in Formula 3. Among the twelve drivers of the Mercedes Junior Programme 2025, there are three Frenchmen. Dorian Pin continues the adventure with the German clan, still in F1 Academy and FRECA. Alongside her, the Francilienne will find three compatriots: Andy Consani (15 years old), who will be entered in F4 France for his first season in car, Julia Montlaur (12 years old), member of the FFSA Academy and who will discover the European level of karting this year, and Many Nuvolini (11 years old), who will also drive in OK-J karting.

“It’s very exciting to be part of the Mercedes family and the team’s junior programme, Andy Consani rejoices. Wearing the colours of the Silver Arrows for this 2025 season in F4 France will be really cool. I am really looking forward to it and I can't wait to get started." "It's an incredible feeling to join the Mercedes-AMG F1 Team junior programme this year, adds Julia Montlaur. I'm looking forward to finding the limits of my performance this year and continuing to learn." With the integration of the young Julia Montlaur, the Mercedes Junior Programme is now made up of 25% female drivers with Doriane Pin and Luna Fluxa.

“2025 marked a special year for the Mercedes AMG F1 Team’s junior programme, which was relaunched in 2016, said Gwen Lagrue, head of the junior driver program at Mercedes. This year, both of our F1 drivers come from our own programme and are leading the way for all of our young drivers. We have allowed ourselves to explore new championships and challenges this year, welcoming six new members from karting all the way up to Formula 3. Some of our junior drivers are ready to challenge for their respective championships, others are just starting their single-seater journey, some are at the end of their karting careers and others are just starting out. At all levels, we have exciting talent and a busy season ahead.”
