We couldn't ask for a better way to start the 2023 FRMEC campaign. Poleman and leader since the first lap, Gabriele Mini (Hitech GP) was heading straight for victory. That was without counting on a unleashed Dino Beganovic (Mumbai Falcons) in the final moments of Race 1.

Returning to contact with his runner-up in FRECA last season, the Swede tried everything until the finish line. Gabriele Mini even pressed him against the wall in a manly manner and thought he had defeated him. But a moment of misunderstanding ended up costing the Italian dearly.

While he had done the hardest part, the Hitech GP driver simply eased off thinking he was on the last lap. Alas, he had barely started it. A misunderstanding which would turn to the advantage of his counterpart. Still focused on his race, Dino Beganovic continued his way to take the lead and thus win the Race 1 ahead of Matias Zagazeta (R-ace GP) and Taylor Barnard (PHM Racing), author of the day's comeback since he moved from 27e the 3e place ! Gabriele Mini managed to “limit the box” with the 6e position.
