End of season testing: Carlin and Daruvala at the top

He is one of the strong men at the end of the season. Two days after securing his first victory on the outer track of the Bahrain circuit, Indian Jehan Daruvala dominated the timesheets for the first end-of-season test session in F2 this Tuesday. He beat the man who should be his new teammate in 2021, the Briton Daniel Ticktum (+0 »1).

The Carlin ticket was ahead of Louis Deletraz (MP Motorsport, +0 »4), who slotted in front of the Prema duo composed of Robert Shwartzman (+0 »4) andOscar piastri (+0 »5). The unfortunate contender for the title of champion this year, Callum Ilott (Charouz), set the 6th time.

On the French side, Clément Novalak (Trident) and Theo Pourchaire (ART Grand Prix) finished in the same tenth, in 15th and 16th position respectively. The session was extremely delayed at the start of the morning, and was even reduced to five hours of driving instead of six, due to an internal problem at the circuit.
