Evan Giltaire (ART Grand Prix) did not let his first match point slip away on the Qatar side. With a 36-point lead over his runner-up Freddie Slater (Mumbai Falcons) before the start of Race 2, the Tricolore seized his chance.
Seventh on the grid, the Senlis native put in another very solid performance. On a demanding circuit with the tires, he was able to manage them perfectly to move up the pack to 4th place. A result that secured him the title of 2025 FRMEC champion since his rival Freddie Slater could not do better than 11th under the checkered flag at Losail.
The title rewards a very solid Middle East campaign from Evan Giltaire. In his first appearance in FRMEC, the Frenchman took 3 wins and 5 podiums, and 5 pole positions in 13 races to succeed Tuukka Taponen on the championship list.
What future for Evan Giltaire?
As he prepares to end his FRMEC adventure with ART Grand Prix, Evan Giltaire can now look ahead to the rest of his 2025 season. Seventh in his first FRECA campaign in 2024, the Senlis native has decided to try his luck again this year, still with the French team and this time with the ambition of winning the championship title after having already won the FRMEC title.
