- Dorian Pin emerged victorious from her duel with Maya Weug at this first meeting of the season in F1 Academy, in China! The Frenchwoman won Race 2, the most points-earning race of the weekend, ahead of the Dutchwoman, who had started from pole position. Chloe Chambers completed the podium in this "Main Race" in Shanghai.
- Due to a long trail of oil spread on the start-finish straight, following the race of Porsche Carrera Cup Asia, the race stewards decided to postpone the start time and give a rolling start with an additional formation lap, so as not to disadvantage certain competitors.
- From the start of the race, Doriane Pin got the better of Maya Weug on the outside of the first bend. - With this first victory, Doriane Pin takes the lead in the F1 Academy championship after this first meeting in China. The Mercedes driver has 31 points and leads ahead of Maya Weug (26 points) and Chloe Chambers (24 points). The next meeting for the F1 Academy: Saudi Arabia, at the Jeddah circuit, from April 18 to 20.
