Hello Doriane. Your name has already been circulating in the paddocks for many years and our readers know your fame, but let's rewind the story anyway. How did your passion for motorsport come to you?

Through my father and my uncle. They followed the Formula 1, rally, a bit of everything. We had the Grand Prix on TV on Sundays at home and I always watched it with them. I immediately liked it, as did talking about it with family. My father, besides that, organized events of karting for businesses. I came there, I loved the environment, the people, the race itself and the behind the scenes. It was interesting and I always wanted to go there to experience moments of sharing. When I was 6 or 7 years old, I got involved in the organization to do something useful.

That is to say ?

I stayed behind the bar, I gave the orange juices and the apple juices. The customers loved it because I didn't go beyond the counter! I was on a big chair talking to them. Customers who, much later, became partners to help me participate in the French karting championships in particular. I wanted to start at age 6, but I was having growing pains. I was three years behind my body shape. I couldn't try a kart, even if I tried to bring the pedals together! It was impossible. I was very disappointed and had to wait 9 and a half years, but I always remained fully involved in the sport. Normal as a goal and she almost has the means, why almost? As long as there is no power steering on the F2 and even on the F3, for women it is mission impossible. And then for her personal case she would arrive in F1 around 24 years old, it is, these days, at 18, max 20 that you have to enter.
