The second round of the 2024 season F1 Academy will take place this weekend in Miami. The first weekend in Jeddah (Saudi Arabia) saw Dorian Pin stand out. On the demanding urban route, the Frenchwoman, junior driver Mercedes, had taken the two pole positions and crossed the finish line in first place in both races.

The Habs were, however, penalized after the finish of the second for having crossed the checkered flag a second time following a communication problem with their Prema team. Third in the championship at the end of this opening weekend, Pocket rocket had, however, left her mark on this inaugural round, confirming her status as favorite.

Pin will have the opportunity to confirm in Florida this weekend, on a second consecutive urban circuit. “ I'm extremely excited to be back on track this weekend in Miami, declares the pilot. It's a new challenge that awaits us, I'm really looking forward to discovering a new circuit and continuing the excellent work that we started in Jeddah. There is always an incredible racing atmosphere in America too. »

A continent that the 20-year-old driver is starting to know well, having already ridden there in IMSA on a few occasions since the start of last season, with two participations in the 24 Hours of Daytona, one in the 6 Hours of Glen and another at Petit Le Mans.

After this American escapade, Doriane Pin will further expand her program by car with FRECA which she will discover on May 11 and 12 in Hockenheim.
