Cancelled race in Miami to be held at another track

The F1 Academy organization announced it a few minutes before the start of the Grand Prix of Formula 1. While the start of the second race of the weekend was not given due to the heavy rain falling on the Miami International Autodrome, the race in question was finally postponed. This is in any case what we can read in the official press release of the competition.

"Due to adverse weather conditions, this afternoon's Race 2 has been postponed. The race was scheduled for 13:05 pm local time, but after persistent rain and additional formation laps behind the safety car, it was delayed and then postponed. No points will be awarded, but Chloe Chambers will receive two points for pole position as the final grid has been released."

A scenario already seen in F1 Academy

Initially awarded 53 points at the end of this truncated Florida event, Chloe Chambers finally leaves the United States with a total of 55 points. Although the final result of the season appears less distorted thanks to this postponement, the question arises as to how the various cancellations of the support races preceding the Formula 1 Grands Prix are managed. The second race of F2 In Melbourne, for example, the first round of the year was canceled due to rain. However, it has not been rescheduled to a later date.
