Alex Albon with DAMS completed the last tests of the season at the top of the timesheet ahead of Norman Nato and Nyck de Vries.

F2 – Albon completes 2017 tests in the lead

For the last laps of the Dallara GP2/11 and their 8L V4.0 engine, Alexander albon set the best time in the final post-season test session in Abu Dhabi with DAMS in 1'48''110. He is only five thousandths ahead Norman Born which offers Rapax an ultimate 2^e place for the departure of the Italian team.

Nyck de Vries (Prema Racing) finished third of the day ahead of Jack Aitken (ART Grand Prix) who finished as the best rookie. Louis Delétraz (MP Motorsport) finishes 5^e of the day ahead Nicholas latifi (DAMS) and Arjun Maini, participant in the Russian Time last stand.

Luca Ghiotto (MP Motorsport) placed 8th of the day ahead of Honda driver Tadasuke Makino (Russian Time) while Oliver Rowland (Racing Engineering) completed the last top 10.

The new generation of Formula 2 with V6 turbo engines and the Halo will make its first laps during a shakedown, the date and location of which remain to be specified. The first official tests will take place on March 6-7-8.
