F2 – C2: Markelov wins at the Red Bull Ring

Starting from the reverse pole, Artem Markelov avoided the various incidents of the first laps starting with Ralph Boschung, who started second, stalling on the grid and being hit by Raffaele Marciello, involving the deployment of the safety car.

At the restart, the championship leader, Charles Leclerc, was forced to retire following contact with his teammate Antonio Fuoco. Markelov was never worried by Albon who had to defend Rowland the entire race.

Luca Ghiotto finished 4th^e after a climb from 14^e place. Antonio Fuoco finished 5^e in front of Jordan King. 7^e to the checkered flag, Nicholas latifi received a 5 second penalty relegating him to 8^e place and offering his position to Norman Nato who started last.
