F2 – C2: First victory for Nicholas Latifi

Starting from the reverse pole, Nicholas latifi (DAMS) kept the advantage at the start while Jordan King (MP Motorsport), who started second, was overtaken by Luca Ghiotto (Russian Time) then had to retire following contact with Oliver Rowland (DAMS). The pilot Renault was then sanctioned with a five-second penalty for pushing Artem Markelov (Russian Time) off the track.

The Canadian driver didn't shake during the entire race, building a four-second lead over Ghiotto. Behind him, the battle for the podium takes shape between Ghiotto, Rowland, Markelov and Charles Leclerc (Prema) until three laps from the finish where the safety car enters the track to evacuate the car of Ralph Boschung (Campos).

The Safety Car faded with one lap to go and Rowland, third, was surprised by Markelov for the last step of the podium. In the last corner, Sergio Canamasas (Rapax) manages to overtake Leclerc to win 5e instead.

Nicholas Latifi wins his first victory in F2 in front of the two Russian Times of Luca Ghiotto and Artem Markelov. Fourth under the checkered flag, Oliver Rowland, big loser in the safety car, is classified 10e following his penalty.

Canamasas signs its best result of the season with a 4e place in front of Leclerc. Norman Nato (Arden) finishes 6e in front of Nyck De Vries (Rapax) left last. Nobuharu Matsushita (ART GP) scores the last points of the race.
