For the first time in over a year, the Formula 2 and Formula 3 are making their return together, on the same race weekend and in the same location. The change in format introduced at the start of the year got us used to alternating between the two championships. Here they are back together in Sochi, since this Russian round replaced that of Austin for Formula 3.

Formula 2

It's the sixth round of the year in Formula 2 and the fight between them protected fromAlpine Oscar piastri et Guanyu-Zhou will continue in Sochi. The Chinese also won his first success in the category last season. Competing for the last seat available in F1 in Alfa Romeo, Zhou will want to drive the point home and prove his worth to Alfa Romeo. After a very solid weekend at Monza, Theo Pourchaire will also try to get closer to the top 3 in the championship.

Program :

Friday : Qualifying at 15:20 p.m. (Canal+ Sport)
Saturday : Race 1 at 9:30 a.m. (Canal+ Sport) and Race 2 at 15:45 p.m. (Canal +)
Sunday : Race 3 at 10:20 a.m. (Canal+ Sport)

Formula 3

It's the end of the Formula 3 season, the last round of the season. After having titled Robert Shwartzman at home two years ago, Sochi should crown Dennis Hauger, who is 43 points ahead of Jack Doohan while only 65 points will be distributed this weekend. We will also have a special eye on our French, who are fighting for 3rd place in the championship. Clément Novalak currently occupies it but Victor Martins is only five points behind.

Program :

Friday : Qualifying at 12 p.m. (Canal+ Sport)
Saturday : Race 1 at 16:25 p.m. (Canal+ Sport) and Race 2 at 12:40 p.m. but broadcast delayed at 14 p.m. on Canal+ Décalé
Sunday : Race 3 at 8:55 a.m. (Canal+ Sport)

Regional Formula by Alpine

With three rounds remaining in the season, Grégoire Saucy, the championship leader, has the opportunity to further increase an already wide lead of 77 points. But the Habs Hadrien David, his main competitor, will throw all his strength into the battle to try to relaunch the championship on the Ricardo Tormo circuit in Valencia. For his part, Isack Hadjar will try to gain the upper hand over his rival Gabriele Mini in the rookie rankings. The two men largely dominate the pack with 109 points each.

Program :

Saturday : Qualification 1 at 9 a.m. and Race 1 at 14:30 p.m.
Sunday : Qualification 2 at 9 a.m. and Race 2 at 13:05 p.m.

All Saturday and Sunday sessions are broadcast on the FRECA Youtube channel
