F2 – Maini and Ferrucci retained at Trident

For the 2018 FIA season Formula 2, Trident begins partnership with Haas F1 Team with a line-up composed solely of development drivers from the American team. So, Santino Ferucci continues with the Italian team for a first full season in F2. The American made the connection between GP3 and F2 during last season.

« I find that I fit well with the spirit of the team, comments Ferrucci, and we have a good possibility this season to fight for the championship."

Ferrucci will be accompanied by his teammate at Haas Arjun maini. The Indian driver revealed himself with Jenzer last season in GP3 with a victory in Barcelona (Spain) and a podium. He had also tested the Trident at Yas Marina (Abu Dhabi) during end-of-season testing.

« I'm really looking forward to starting in FIA Formula 2 with Trident, adds the Bangalore native. Trident is a very strong team and I am sure if we work hard we will have good results during the season. »  

In 2017, Trident finished 10^e of the team championship with 4 driver changes during the year.
