At 19, Alex Dunne continues to climb the ranks. The Irish driver has only five races in F2, but is nevertheless among the great prospects of the academy McLaren. With two podiums and a victory in the main race in Bahrain, the driver has already demonstrated great driving skills despite only having had one season of F3 marked by numerous misadventures, finishing in 20th place in the ranking.

This Wednesday, Dunne took to the track for the first time aboard a Formula 1This first test took place at the Zandvoort circuit in the Netherlands and represents a new major step in the Irishman's young career. He was already attracting attention after his victory at Sakhir last April, including that of David Croft, the voice of F1 on Sky Sports.

British F4 Champion in 2022, and since then experiencing exponential growth on the pyramid of carAlex Dunne still has room for improvement. While somewhat aggressive at times, the Irishman can nevertheless hope to dream big for the coming years. Fourth in the F2 championship after three weekends, the young Rodin driver is closer to Formula 1 than anyone else in the McLaren academy. Is there any hope of a reserve spot in the future?
