There will be no double for Theo Pourchaire (ART Grand Prix) in the streets of Monaco, a year after his victory in the Main Race. Left in 2e position, the Habs never found the opening on Felipe Drugovich (MP Motorsport) who signs a 3e success in the last 4 races, the 4e of the year already.

However, Théo Pourchaire appeared oppressive in Felipe Drugovich's mirrors during a good part of the race. Although he was patient during the first stint on soft tires, the Grassois took advantage of the switch to super soft tires to come back into contact with the Brazilian, slower than him on the same rubber.

But in Monaco it is not enough to be faster than the driver in front of you to be able to overtake. In the streets of the Principality, you have to try everything to try to get the best of your rival. Coming back into the South American's exhausts in the last 15 laps, Théo Pourchaire was able to be threatening without making his opponent crack.

Much faster than his counterpart, the Sauber Academy protégé ultimately did not tempt the devil, preferring to secure a 2e place and 18 points in the championship at the risk of losing big and seeing Felipe Drugovich take off at the top of the standings. It was therefore in the same positions as at the start that we found the two men at the finish. Jüri Vips (Hitech GP), 4e on the grid, completed the podium after overtaking Jack Doohan (Virtuosi) during the pit stop game.

In the championship, Felipe Drugovich increases his lead over Théo Pourchaire thanks to this 4e victory of the season, the 3e in the Main Race. The MP Motorsport driver is now 32 lengths ahead of his ART Grand Prix counterpart.
