Polesitter for the second consecutive time, Nikola Tsolov is already in an ideal position to make up for last week's blunder. Ugo Ugochukwu will join him on the front row.

In one place, the Formula 3 was preparing to witness the eagerly awaited start on the grid for the main race. Nikola Tsolov (Campos) continued his winning ways, setting the pole position time of 1:45.043. Having dominated for several weeks now, the Bulgarian must absolutely make up for the lost time accumulated since his disqualification in Austria, without which he would currently be just one point behind the leader, Rafael Câmara (Trident).

Qualifying third, slightly more than a tenth behind the poleman, Câmara came close to the front row. However, between the two championship rivals, Ugo Ugochukwu also confirmed his exponential progress at the moment. Deprived of a podium finish on which he had climbed for the first time in Spielberg, the Prema driver supported by McLaren almost stole first place from the otherwise in-form Tsolov. Sunday's duel could be tough between the three protagonists involved, especially since the first corners of the Silverstone circuit are among the most conducive to overtaking on the calendar.

Respectively second and fourth overall, Tim Tramnitz (MP Motorsport) and Martinius Stenshorne (Hitech) qualified fifth and seventh, and will also be ones to watch for the weekend's two races from a relatively central position on the reverse grid. Indeed, after the second place sprint clinched by an opportunistic Alessandro Giusti (MP Motorsport) on Austrian soil, Théophile Naël will have a real chance to shine in turn. Ninth on Sunday's grid, the Van Amersfoort Racing driver will start fourth this Saturday, thanks to the reversal of the first twelve positions. For his part, Alessandro Giusti will start 14th in the two upcoming races, and will try to enter the points zone to avoid losing the seventh place he currently holds.

On the agenda for the rest of this British weekend, the sprint race will take place this Saturday at 11 a.m. (French time) and will be broadcast on Canal+ Sport. The main race will start on Sunday at 10:30 a.m.
