Formula e – Dragon Racing will become a manufacturer

After the joint officializations of the withdrawal of Trulli Formula e Team (with immediate effect) and the arrival of Jaguar on the horizon 2016-2017, the FIA ​​has published the names of the two new manufacturers selected for the third year of the 100% electric single-seater championship.

Alongside the British brand, the Dragon Racing team will also be promoted from fall 2016. Jay Penske's American team embarks this year on its car the powertrain developed by Venturi, but will use its own technical solution during the next campaign, as AUTOhebdo indicates in its n°2042, already available in digital version.

We created this series to provide manufacturers with the opportunity to compete and develop technologies that could be transferred to road-going electric cars.

While waiting for Jaguar to arrive, the third ePrix of the current season will take place this weekend in Punta del Este in Uruguay.
