Formula e – Salvador Duran joins Trulli

Salvador Duran will compete in the second season of the Formula e by joining the Trulli stable after participating in the inaugural season with Amlin Aguri. The 30-year-old Mexican finished 21st in the Championship with 13 points after missing the first two races. His best result in the discipline was a sixth place at the Moscow ePrix last June.

“We had our eye on him last year and we were very impressed with his progress throughout the season”, declared Lucio Cavuto, Team Principal of the Trulli team. “We are happy that he trusts us despite two difficult test sessions. But he was able to see our determination in this project which is very ambitious. He knows the team will give him a lot given that he won't be able to spend much time behind the wheel during pre-season testing. »

The Trulli team is expected to take its first laps with its new engine at Donington testing this week.
