  • The reigning world champion yesterday, the reigning world vice-champion today: the day after Jake Dennis' victory, it was Nick Cassidy's turn to win in Saudi Arabia, by winning the E -Diriyah Prize 2. The Jaguar driver achieves his first success of the season, thanks to a perfectly executed race strategy and good management despite the pressure exerted by Robin Frijns and Oliver Rowland.
  • Starting from pole position, Oliver Rowland quickly lost the benefit of his starting position to Robin Frijns. The Envision driver then lost the lead of the race after the Attack Mode waltz: like the day before, Nick Cassidy decided to wait a little longer to complete his two passes, while creating a sufficient gap to get out of the zone detection in the lead. The New Zealander signs his first victory with Jaguar, and his third podium and three races this season.
  • Robin Frijns (2nd) and Oliver Rowland (3rd) signed their first podium of the season, having not achieved any in 2023. Nissan also gleans its first points of the year, with a total of 23 points recorded on this third round of the championship thanks also to the eight units registered by Sacha Fenestraz and his 6th place at the finish.
  • Jean-Éric Vergne and Stoffel Vandoorne also finished in the points, without however improving their starting positions: the Frenchman finished 8th, the Belgian 5th despite a failed passage through the Attack Mode zone…
  • Rare enough to be noted in Formula E : no Safety Car intervened throughout the weekend! The second race held in Diriyah was, however, disrupted by a short yellow flag after Jehan Daruvala went off the track.
  • Thanks to this success, Nick Cassdy carried out an excellent operation from an accounting point of view and took full control of the Drivers' championship with 56 points, ahead of Pascal Wehrlein (38 points) and Jean-Éric Vergne (33 points).
