- Mexcio City is Pascal Wehrlein's garden! Before the Mexico E-Prix, the German took his fourth pole position in Mexico in Formula E, after 2019, 2022 and 2024. The pilot Porsche thus equals the record of Jean-Éric Vergne, who also established four pole positions on the same circuit in Berlin (2016, 2020 twice, 2021). The reigning world champion has already won twice in Mexico, in 2022 and 2024.
- The ex-pilot of Formula 1 confirmed his great dynamic in qualifying, having already taken pole position in São Paulo last December, for the opening round of Season 11. Pascal Wehrlein beat Antonio Félix da Costa in a 100% Porsche duel in the final, thus ensuring the German manufacturer the front row with its two drivers.
- The second row will be completed by Oliver Rowland (Nissan) and Jean-Éric Vergne (DS Penske). The Frenchman, eliminated by Antonio Félix da Costa in the semi-final after beating his teammate Maximilian Günther in the quarter-final, will start 3rd on the starting grid.
- Sébastien Buemi and Nick Cassidy also thought they would reach the duels phase by both finishing in the Top 4 of their respective groups… but both drivers were penalized, each for technical faults, and were relegated to the back of the grid, as was Robin Frijns. The cancellation of Nick Cassidy's time allowed Jean-Éric Vergne, initially eliminated with the 5th time in Group B, to be reinstated for the Duels before qualifying 3rd.
- The other Frenchman entered in Formula E, Norman Nato (Nissan), had more difficulty during qualifying and finished last in Group B: he will therefore start at the back of the pack, in 18th place, ahead of the drivers disqualified during this session.
