- Sébastien Buemi will have waited six years! Six years since the Swiss had won a single victory in Formula E But that's it, the Season 2 champion has returned to the top step of the podium thanks to an exceptional performance this Sunday, during the second race of the Monaco E-Prix. The Envision driver, who had only scored six points since the start of the season, took an unexpected victory on the streets of the Principality, his first success in Formula E since the New York E-Prix in 2019! This is the third time that Sébastien Buemi has won in Monaco, a record in the discipline.

- On a wet track that dried out over the laps, the 36-year-old driver used his experience in electric racing (134 E-Prix contested) to good effect, managing both his energy and his position perfectly. Starting from 8th place, the Swiss driver patiently waited for the right moment to attack in the last ten laps. Always well positioned, the Envision driver took the lead of the race eight laps from the finish with excellent timing on his Attack Mode. He crossed the checkered flag with a large lead of more than four seconds, something never seen before in Monaco.
- Winner of the first race the day before, Oliver Rowland had the race in hand with about ten laps to go. Starting from pole position, the Briton seemed to be managing his race by waiting as late as possible to use his Attack Mode. Unfortunately, while trying to overtake Jean-Éric Vergne to regain the lead, the Nissan driver had to cut the chicane to get the better of his opponent. Under Nissan's orders, the championship leader had to give up the position a few laps later, losing precious seconds and likely the victory. Nevertheless, with this 2nd place, Oliver Rowland has had a near-perfect weekend and is flying high in the Drivers' Championship.

- Today's comeback is down to Nick Cassidy! After a disastrous start to the season, the Jaguar driver found his way back onto the podium after an incredible race: 14th on the grid, the New Zealander roared back in the final laps, making the most of his second Attack Mode to climb back to 3rd place ahead of Antonio Félix da Costa and Nyck de Vries.
- Like Oliver Rowland, Jean-Éric Vergne had high hopes of winning this Monaco E-Prix. Fourth on the grid, the DS Penske driver took the lead after using his first Attack Mode, taking a comfortable three-second lead over the Nissan driver. Unfortunately, his efforts were thwarted by the Safety Car's deployment following Nico Müller's mid-race crash. In contention for a podium finish, the Frenchman ultimately dropped to sixth place behind the drivers who had used their Attack Mode last.
- In the championship, Oliver Rowland now has 115 points and extends his lead to 48 points ahead of Antonio Félix da Costa (67 points), a gap not seen since the introduction of Gen3 in 2023. Pascal Wehrlein completes the Top 3 with 66 points. In the Teams' standings, Porsche is still in the lead with 133 points but sees the threat of Nissan (126 points) looming.
