- Second pole position this season for Taylor Barnard! One year after his debut in Formula E In the streets of the Principality, the Briton secured another pole position for the first Monaco E-Prix of the weekend. The driver McLaren was the fastest of all with the best overall time set in the semi-final. In the final, he didn't have to fight against Oliver Rowland: the championship leader made a mistake at the first corner, hitting the rail at the exit of Sainte-Dévote, giving his opponent pole position.

- On this first qualifying session of the weekend – Monaco welcomes a double headers for the first time in Formula E – pole position was undecided for a long time with some surprises in the group stage and during the duels. Dan Ticktum (Cupra Kiro) and Nyck de Vries (Mahindra) came close to qualifying for the final and were forced to stop in the semi-finals. Driving cars accustomed to competing at the back of the pack, they will start on the second row with the hope of securing their first podium of the season.
- Among the other title contenders, mixed feelings on the home side PorscheWhile Pascal Wehrlein, eliminated in the quarter-finals, will start from 5th place in the first race this Saturday, Antonio Félix da Costa was knocked out in the group stage and will only start in 15th place.
- The two French drivers on the Formula E grid were eliminated in the group stage. Jean-Éric Vergne (DS-Penske) and Norman Nato (Nissan), placed in Group A, set the 8th and 9th fastest times in their group respectively and will start from the back of the grid for the first race of the weekend, in 16th and 18th places.
