The automotive group is present in Endurance with Peugeot but also rally with Citroën, Lancia and Opel and finally in Formula E with DS and Maserati. Theo Pourchaire, which was able to participate in a test session reserved for young drivers during the Jeddah round with Maserati, continues to expand its presence in the group's brands, with test sessions now planned for DS Performance.
Malthe Jakobsen, regular pilot in WEC for Peugeot, was one of the first young drivers supported by Stellantis Motorsport, as was the case for Nico Pino. On the rally side, Léo Rossel, currently in WRC2 like his brother Yohan, also benefits from the support of the group born from the merger between PSA and FCA. For Théo Pourchaire, who also participated in the development of the third-generation Formula E before its introduction to racing in 2023, a test program is planned, and should culminate in a test at the wheel of DS Penske's Gen3 EVO.
The former champion of Formula 2 began with a first day of testing with the car second-generation DS Performance. Two more will follow, as well as ten days in the simulator of the Stellantis group's premium brand, in Satory. Places he already knows very well since it is the same place that Peugeot's program in the World Endurance Championship is organized.
“I am delighted to have joined this Stellantis Motorsport program and to continue the Formula E adventure with DS Performance.”, explained the young French pilot. "It's really motivating to be surrounded by such an experienced team and I think we can do great things together! Formula E is a very high-level championship and there might be an opportunity for me in the future."
