  • R-ace GP confirms! After securing the first two positions on the grid for Race 1 thanks to the pole position of Tukka Taponen and Zachary David, the French team carried out its plan perfectly to score a double this Saturday in Hungary.
  • This quickly took shape when the Finn and the Filipino managed their flight. Coming out of the first corner in the first two positions and sheltered from the few touches that there may have been behind them, Tukka Taponen and Zachary David showed great control. We cannot confirm whether there were team instructions or not before the start, but the two men did not tempt the devil, avoiding any attack putting collective effort at the forefront.
  • Behind, Tuukka Taponen managed his efforts while his teammate ultimately had more work than expected to maintain his 2e position. In the final minutes, Brando Badoer (VAR) came back on Zachary David, forcing him to step up his game to stay in front. This provided a lively penultimate lap as Enzo Deligny (R-ace GP), Alessandro Giusti (ART Grand Prix) and Rafael Câmara (Prema) also got involved in the battle.
  • Finally Zachary David confirmed the R-ace GP double ahead of Brando Badoer. In this fight for the podium, Enzo Deligny is the one who lost the biggest since he finished 6e while Rafael Câmara took 4e place, Alessandro Giusti stepping in between the two. For Tuukka Taponen, this is his second victory of the season after that obtained in Race 1 at Zandvoort a fortnight ago. R-ace GP for its part places its three cars in the Top 6.
  • As for the other Tricolores, Evan Giltaire (ART Grand Prix), Enzo Peugeot (Saintéloc Racing), Théophile Naël (Saintéloc Racing), Romain Andriolo (G4 Racing) and Edgar Pirre Pierre (RPM) finished 7 respectivelye, 8e, 18e, 21e and 23e.
