At the end of these two days of testing, it was Dutchman Reno Francot (CL Motorsport) who set the fastest time, with a lap of 1:34.500 on Wednesday afternoon, during the 32nd of his 33 laps on the Hockenheim circuit. These two days of testing were organized as follows: drivers who had already taken to the track this winter for the FRMET (Formula Regional Middle East) series did not participate in the first day on Tuesday. The 30 drivers taking part in these tests then took to the track together, freely, the following day. On this occasion, the 2025 French F4 champion, Alexandre Munoz (ART Grand Prix), drove during these two days due to his absence from the grid this winter and his familiarization with the series. car of FREC.

Having held second place among the first-time participants for much of the session, the Ariège native then settled into the pack on Wednesday, without, however, fading into the background. Disrupted by rain, Wednesday morning's session was consequently shortened in terms of representative running time. Emirati driver Rashid Al Dhaheri (R-ace GP) set the fastest time at midday, clocking a lap of 1:34.589, not far from the absolute record set later. With 37 laps completed, Alexandre Munoz was the fastest Frenchman of the session with a time of 1:34.926, ahead of Jules Roussel in 13th (CL Motorsport), and Andrea Dupé in 28th (VAR).

In very different conditions, former Italian F4 driver Andrea Dupé managed to secure a top-10 finish in the afternoon session a few moments later. Setting his best lap time of 1:34.989, Dupé posted the seventh fastest time of the session, slotting in between, for example, the benchmark drivers Al Dhaheri and Olivieri, both R-ace GP drivers.

Consistently clocking around 1 minute 35 seconds, Jules Roussel was a surprise guest at these tests. Not yet officially signed to a team for the 2026 FREC season, the Macau F4 World Cup winner nevertheless seized the opportunity to participate. In the pack, he was never far behind his two compatriots, having begun to experience exponential progress at the wheel of the T-326 this winter in FRMET with G4 Racing.

While not all seats are yet filled for this year, particularly at CL Motorsport, the next collective tests before the official start of the FREC season will take place very soon. Specifically, the Paul Ricard circuit will host the second shakedown for the drivers, as it did last year, from March 30th to 31st. Then, on April 4th and 5th, the Red Bull Ring will host the final phase of testing before the first round takes place in Spielberg, on the same track.
