FRMEC – Dubai: Bedrin takes a PHM Racing hat-trick

With the victory of Nikita Bedrin and the presence of Taylor Barnard and Joshua Dufek on the podium, PHM Racing scored a hat-trick for the last race in Dubai.

This is a great way to end the weekend. With Nikita Bedrin in pole position, PHM Racing's chances of victory were very high in Dubai this Sunday. Ultimately, the German team came away with much more than just success.

Left in 2^e line, Taylor Barnard and Joshua Dufek, teammate of Nikita Bedrin, immediately stormed Andrea Kimi Antonelli (Mumbai Falcons), second on the starting grid. A gamble that paid off since it allowed PHM Racing to place its three men in the first three positions in this last race of the Dubai weekend.

At the front of the peloton, Nikita Bedrin took advantage of the collisions in his mirrors to take cover. Although he had to manage two Safety Car restarts, the Russian, who races under an Italian license, did not tremble against his teammates or Andrea Kimi Antonelli. The battles between the three men allowed him to distance himself to score his first victory of the year while PHM Racing scored a hat-trick.

Championship leader, Andrea Kimi Antonelli will have to wait until next weekend and the last round of the campaign in Abu Dhabi to win the championship title. He is in fact 45 points ahead with 75 remaining in the game.
