GP2-C2: Matsushita offers a first in Hungary

The French teams shone in Hungary in the GP2 Series. After DAMS yesterday, Training ART Grand Prix also scored a double in the sprint race thanks to the Belgian-Japanese pair Nobuharu Matsushita? Stoffel Vandoorne.

Poleman under the reverse grid rule, Matsushita negotiated his takeoff perfectly, just like Vandoorne, who came to pass Raffaele Marciello (Trident Racing) to take second place at the first corner.

The rest of the event will be a virtual formality for the ART drivers. While Matsushita pockets his first success in the discipline, Vandoorne will resist the pressure of Sergey Sirotkin (Rapax) for second place, who signs a new podium by placing third. The trio, separated by a little more than two seconds at the finish, is ahead of Marciello, Rio Haryanto (Campos Racing) and Norman Nato (Arden) who enters the top 6.

Authors of a double yesterday, Alex Lynn and Pierre Gasly (DAMS)
ranked 9th and 8th ahead of Arthur Pic (Campos Racing) and Nathanaël Berthon (Team Lazarus), who led the race in the peloton.
