GP2 – Marco Sorensen joins Carlin

Marco Sorensen will play his first full season in GP2Series by joining the stable Carlin who confirmed Julian Leal for many months. The Dane made a promising debut in the discipline last year, alongside his program in Formula Renault 3.5 Series, by taking 11th place in the Championship after missing the first four events of the season and by taking his first victory in Race 2 held in Sochi (Russia).

“This team has a very good reputation and I have the feeling that I have not yet reached the end of this Championship,” commented the Lotus resident F1 Team Junior. “I am sure that we will achieve the best results together. I thank Gravity Sports Management and Saxo Bank for their support. »

Marco Sorensen has good experience in car since he notably finished vice-champion of the F3 German in 2011 and played three seasons at the highest level of the World Series by Renault. The 2015 GP2 Series season will begin in Bahrain on April 18-19.
