For Hadrien David, this meeting at the Dubai Autodrome marked the end of his participation in the 2022 FRAC campaign. Revengeful after his disillusionment in Abu Dhabi, where he was twice forced to retire, the Frenchman was keen to react to end his Middle East tour in style. From the outset, the 2021 FRECA vice-champion sets the tone by setting the best times in free practice before grabbing one of the two pole positions at stake, the other going to Sebastian Montoya. “ We made up nicely from Abu Dhabi. It was the most important so we are happy, he explained to us from Dubai. Starting immediately with performance immediately gave me confidence. The previous week, I had hit a wall during the first practice session. So in Dubai, I was immediately in a different state of mind."
