Indycar: Pagenaud takes on Brazil

simon pagenaud distinguished himself in Long Beach by taking second place after threatening Will Power. The Schmidt resident/Hamilton Racing came very close to its first victory in Indycar and already occupies third place in the Championship after having only competed in three events. The Frenchman is preparing to compete in the Sao Paulo event where the rain could well come and hopes to continue this upward slope and collect as many points as possible before facing the races on ovals including the Indy 500.

“This is my first visit to Brazil”, recalls the former pilot Peugeot . “Who says Brazil, in car racing,” says Ayrton Senna. Senna has been my inspiration in racing and in my career. Running in your country and in Sao Paulo therefore has a particular emotional character for me. Here we are 3rd in the championship after three races. Schmidt/Hamilton Racing is doing a fabulous job. I feel comfortable in the team and in the constantly evolving car. Honda is continually looking for performance and I must say that I'm having particular fun this year. Sao Paulo is a city circuit with long straight lines favoring overtaking. The weather forecast is calling for rain which I will welcome with open arms. Driving in these difficult conditions is a very special exercise where it is possible to do well in the game. , or lose everything in 1 tenth of a second. I like this challenge. I need to continue to score as many points as possible before the Indianapolis 500 and the oval period which is coming up on the calendar. I'm ready, my teeth sharp! »
