IndyCar – Scott Dixon and Tony Kanaan confirmed at Ganassi

After a delicate start to the 2014 season (only one podium after five races for the four cars entered this year, editor's note), the Ganassi team increased the pace in the last quarter of the season to finish with a bang and achieve three victories in the last four events, including a double for the final in Fontana in California, with the success of the Brazilian Tony Kanaan. The 2004 champion of IndyCar Series will return to the seat of its No. 12 Chevrolet-powered DW10 in 2015, with a new sponsor, DTT DATA, who signed for several seasons at the end of 2013. “We really started to put it all together at the end of the season and even though we ended on a high note with the win at Fontana, I think we had a legitimate chance to win more often, admits the winner of the 500 Indy 2013. We have a year of working together behind us now and I expect to be more consistent in 2015.”

Kanaan will once again play alongside New Zealander Scott Dixon, three-time IndyCar champion. Already confirmed earlier in the week, he will pilot the car badged with No. 9 in Target colors. “I know the team is focused and ready for 2015. I’m honored to be back in the No. 9.” It's really hard to believe this will be my 14th year with Chip Ganassi Racing and it seems like just yesterday that I made my first start for them in 2002."
