Bourdais and Dale Coyne / Vasser-Sullivan extend the adventure

It comes as no surprise that Dale Coyne Racing and the Vasser-Sullivan tandem have formalized the continuation of their partnership from this 2019 campaign in IndyCar Series. The agreement covers several seasons and will see Sébastien Bourdais at the wheel of the DW12 – Honda n°18 from the opening of the championship in St Petersburg next March.

A resident of Dale Coyne's team since 2017 after three years at KVSH Racing (already under the leadership of Vasser-Sullivan), the four-time Champ Car champion has won over the last two years at his "home event" in Florida.

Bourdais had also returned from his serious accident during Indy 500 qualifying in 2017 to compete in the last three rounds of this same season, before resuming a full program last year, completed with a victory in St Pete and a third place in Portland.

“The project that Dale and I started in 2017 will continue to grow over the next two years with the support of many people and great sponsors, comments the French pilot. As the start of the season approaches, I can't wait to see what we can accomplish over the next two years. »

Before that, Sébastien Bourdais will be at the start of the 24 Hours of Daytona in IMSA this weekend, behind the wheel of one of Chip Ganassi Racing’s two Ford GTs.
