Florian Latorre: the young Frenchman on his way to Indycar

It's one more step towards his dream. Frenchman Florian Latorre has just joined the “Road to Indy”, a sector of the?Indycar. Aged only 15, the driver will participate this season in the United States in the USF2000 Championship, which can be compared to Formula Renault 2.0 in Europe. He will defend the colors of the Jay Motorsports team. Originally from Libourne, the young Frenchman finished eighth in the F4 championship last year after making his debut in karting.

For Florian Latorre, the great American adventure will begin next week in Florida. The championship opens with an event alongside the 12 Hours of Sebring. After the Florida clock tour, the Libournais will then go to Saint Petersburg, still in Florida, where the first race of the new Indycar season will be held. There he will perhaps meet his three compatriots involved in the discipline, namely Sébastien Bourdais, Tristan Vautier and simon pagenaud. Before following in their footsteps? The objective for 2013 will be above all to win the title of “Rooky of the Year”, which will reward the best start to the season.
