Indy 500 – McLaren unveils Alonso's mount

There will be no revolution in the colors displayed by the car de Fernando Alonso at Indy 500 on May 26. The mount engaged by Mclaren racing will take on the orange color seen on the MCL34 in F1. The No. 66 will pay tribute to the British manufacturer's first victory at the Brickyard won by Mark Donohue in 1972 on the M16 entered by the Penske team.

“The team at the McLaren factory have done a fantastic job getting the car ready for our return to the Brickyard. My goal remains the same: to win and win the Triple Crown.”, comments Fernando Alonso who already has the Monaco GP and the 24 Hours of Le Mans to his record.

Fernando Alonso claimed victory in 2017 at the Indy 500 before having to retire with a mechanical problem.
