IndyCar – Conor Daly returns with SPM for Detroit

We now know the name of the unfortunate man's replacement James hinchcliffe, injured thigh and pelvic region in accident in free practice Monday May 18 in Indianapolis, following a suspension problem on his Dallara DW12? No. 5 Honda from Schmidt Peterson Motorsports. Ryan Briscoe took his place for the 500-mile event, giving himself the best progression in the race of the edition (from 31st to 12th final place).

The Canadian, unavailable until further notice, will be replaced by American Conor Daly, unhappy at the Indy 500 after a mechanical problem even before the first lap of the race on his car n°43 of the SPM. The former GP2 Series resident will therefore benefit from a new opportunity to shine.

This weekend's Michigan event will be the one and only "double-header" (two races scheduled for the weekend) on the 2015 calendar. It is on this track that the French simon pagenaud had also given Schmidt Peterson Motorsports its first victory in IndyCar in 2013.
