Thanks to the Brazilian Helio Castroneves, Team Penske places three of its four cars in the leading quarter. In fifth place, we find Alexander Red (Andretti / Honda) author of an impeccable performance. All under the eyes of Fernando Alonso, who will be his teammate at the Indy 500.

Party twelfth, Sébastien Bourdais (Dale Coyne / Honda) finished eighth, which allowed him to retain the reins of the championship ahead of Scott Dixon, Josef Newgarden and Simon Pagenaud. The next race, the first on an oval this season, is scheduled for next weekend at Phoenix International Raceway.
