IndyCar – Will Power good for service

Will Power will be able to participate in the next event the weekend of April 2 at the Phoenix International Raceway (Arizona). The Team Penske driver received clearance from doctors to return to competition after new tests failed to prove the existence of a concussion.

The 2014 champion ofIndyCar was withdrawn from the Grand Prix of St Petersburg (Florida) last weekend after showing concussion-like symptoms following qualifying where he took pole. New examinations revealed a lasting infection of the inner ear, which would explain the nausea from which the Australian suffered.

The concussion track was favored following Will Power's accident during Friday practice.
