Kyle Kaiser crashes in Indianapolis

Kyle Kaiser caused the first interruption of the session during “Fast Friday” in Indianapolis, the last practice session before qualifying for the 500 Miles which will begin this Saturday. The Juncos Racing resident lost control of his DW12 at turn 3. After spinning, the American hit the wall and found himself on his side.

Despite the violence of the impact, Kyle Kaiser emerged from the accident unscathed unlike his car. The American is nevertheless uncertain for the race given the damage to his car.

" I'm doing well ! Thanks to the technology and safety of these cars! It hit hard, I felt it, he commented. I'm not really sure what happened. I just know I lost it in the middle of the turn. We'll have to look at the data to see what happened. We'll see what our options are, but that's clearly not what we want to have on the eve of qualifying. In any case, we will do everything to be at the start of the race. »

The Indy 500 tests were notably marked by the accidents of Fernando Alonso (McLaren) and Felix Rosenqvist (Chip Ganassi Racing) earlier in the week.
